ABOUT ALLAN DAVEY
Allan first picked up the guitar at the age of 10 and at 14 Started what would be his first Band Called EZ Action which Later would become Razors Edge Which Would last for a a 5 year Period With Allan Davey on guitars and Adam lane on Guitars and Vocals and Brian Clark on Bass and Vocals and Mike Demrick on Drums .. They would play Their First show at Portsmouth Junior Highs Battle of the Bands on Jan 2nd 1987 Coming in 2nd place .
Later that Month They Had changed The Bands Name to Razors Edge and were Joined By Joe Rhoner on Vocals Making The First Line up of Razors Edge Complete!!! There would be 2 different lines ups in the course of 3 years!
On Feb 1987 Allan and The Rest Of Razors Edge Recorded Their First EP Self Titled . at Zero Pressure Recording in Portsmouth NH with a Budget of $500.00. Getting some great input about the EP , They went back to Zero Pressure and Recorded Dogz Day in Feb 1988..
Razors Edge Continued to play all over New England until The Spring of 1991 when Adam lane and BrianClark would go back to Boston as well as drummer Mike Demrick had left The Band to Join other Projects and continue their educations.
Leaving Allan to ponder the future.
In 1991 Allan Davey Released Guitars Works His first Solo EP on the Play Hard Label ! An Indy Label out Of Portsmouth NH.
That would be an Instrumental CD .
In 1993 a Live EP title Live At The Music Hall!! withour Allans Permition andSix Years Later of after taking a break from Playing clubs as well as Recording in 1999 Allan Would Release His Last CD with The Now Defunked Play Hard Label,, The CD was called Apocalypse..
Leaving Allan to question his future , He was approached by Randy Stallon and Hanse Wethall of Bunker Records (an Indie Label out of Boston Mass ) which Signed Allan!,
Allan has released 8 CDS on the Bunker Label 1) Dirty Pool 2000. 2)Crunch 2001, 3)A-440 2003 4) The T5 Sessions Demos 2005 6)Chapter 10 . 2007. 7)2007 Acoustic Bits EP.(Which was Printed in Limited Supply to Raise money for The MS Foundation) 2008; GREED!
Allan Continues to be on His New Indie Label T5 Record and has been playing clubs and big venues steadily since the age of 15. He has been on 3 labels which are Play Hard Records (now defunked), as well as with Bunker Records,and Now His Own Label T5 Records as well as Providing Distribution...through Zoo Moozik and Snocap!
. Allan is also in high demand as a session musician throughout New England, New York, and Florida. He also teaches guitar to an exclusive handful of students. He is a Berklee College of Music graduate with a bachelors degree in Music Education.
He has made three instructional DVDs. The first was ADVANCED SOLOING. and rthe second an third are called new Neck Navigation Parts 1 & 2 as well as His Hew CD Greed Released Sept 23rd 2008.On T5 Records,,,And Medicine Man set to be released On Feb 2010..
Allan Is also CEO of T5 Records,Allan Davey Music LLC(Allan's Publishing Company) T5 Managment and T5 Entertainment.. all providing full support for Allan Davey as well as many other Forida Acts!
