IND began with the first time the cellophane was removed from a Wu Tang album; from a Nas tape, or even a Swollen Members twelve inch single. IND was born before the founders had any idea what it would be.
Kae G The Original Seed & Fortune would meet, converse and less than a year later give birth to IND Recordings.
Threw many years; in and out of every studio in the area, the construction of their own, and too many abandoned projects to name; the two finally released their first official project in August of 2007.
With Kae G on the boards and commanding the MPC; Fortune would step to the mic and began to blow down and banish wack emcees. The end result would be come “The Tortured Souls E.P.” and would make seven long years of struggle and strife worth the wait.
The two, now having found their groove, barrel forward with a mixtape and L.P. from Fortune releasing in the Summer, a L.P. from Kae G, and another mixtape and a third full length from IND’s newest collaborative artist, Suga Hill.
